Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 28, various locations and times: Jeep Beach 2024
One of the world’s largest Jeep-exclusive events, enthusiasts, Jeepers, and vendors from all 50 states and dozens of countries descend on Daytona Beach to check out the latest products and raise money for local charities. Registration includes access for your Jeep and all seat-belted passengers, admission to the main event and vendor show on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, and an opportunity to drive your Jeep on the venue’s new obstacle course.
Saturday, April 20 & Sunday, April 21, 10 am to 5 pm: Blueberry Fest
The 2nd annual Blueberry Fest in Orange City’s Valentine Park offers family fun and festivities, fresh blueberries galore, arts and crafts, delicious food, and beer and wine. Kids of all ages will not want to miss the free, world-famous Frisbee dog show held each day at noon, 2 pm, and 4 pm or the pie eating contest.
Saturday, April 27, 11 am to 3 pm: Lake Helen Lake Day 2024!
Each year, Lake Helen residents, neighbors, and visitors gather at the city’s Royal Park to enjoy a day of picnicking, boating, fishing, and entertainment. Featuring a cash prize watercraft race and fishing events for all age groups, attendees also come to experience the town’s small-town charm and support educational outreach programs and the ecological restoration of Lake Helen’s numerous lakes scattered through its six parks.
Friday, May 31, 6 pm to 8 pm: DeLand Ice Cream Walk
Head into the hottest months knowing the best spots for ice cream! This event conveniently lands on the last day of school for Volusia County schools and gives you the chance to sample ice cream from shops on the iconic Downtown DeLand main street. Buy tickets online then scan them to get a “passport.”
